Ripperoo Parade

Each Saturday, starting December 17, Ripperoo, Heavenly's loveable mascot, will give children the chance to star in their own parade, as they play music, sing songs, and march through Heavenly Village. The Ripperoo Parade will begin at 4:30 p.m. at the base of the Gondola and will end with hot chocolate and photos with Ripperoo.

Since it's opening inside MontBleu Resort Casino & Spa on Memorial Day Weekend, the Onsen Beach & Nightclub has become one of the hottest spots in Tahoe. Add in 1,000 people, $50,000 worth of sound and lighting plus one huge Jacuzzi and you've got a recipe for a long night.

Also included will be the return of the ever-popular Dummy Gelande event where teams build and launch home-made dummies for distance and style points.

The Heavenly Ski Patrol Concert and Fundraiser is held on top of the Heavenly Village parking garage on Saturday, April 7. Proceeds benefit local causes and non-profit organizations. Join the party for some beer, wine and raffle prizes.

Got legs of steel? Join Glen Plake and friends for this one-of-a-kind ski marathon designed for the average Joe. We'll be doing laps on Heavenly's famous mogul run, Gunbarrel, from sun up 'til sundown. Designed with a shotgun start, those who complete 25 laps in the allotted time will receive a coveted GB25 finisher pin.

Cool off this spring at Slush Pond mania. Come out and see who can make it across Adventure Peak's "Lake Heavenly" without getting wet! In addition to distance, competitors will also be judged on style appearance and crowd appeal. Costumes are encouraged.
